1. Introduction

Welcome to 5Aside, the ultimate grassroots football app designed to help players and teams organise, communicate, and manage their games. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of 5Aside.

By using our app or website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time.

2. Who Can Use 5Aside?

You must be at least 16 years old to use 5Aside, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian. By using our services, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Your Responsibilities

You must not use 5Aside for any unlawful or abusive purposes.
You must not attempt to hack, damage, or exploit the platform.
You must not misuse in-app payments, fraudulently request refunds, or exploit the system.
You must be respectful when using in-app messaging and community features.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

If you violate these rules, we may suspend or terminate your account.

4. Team & Player Information

Users can create or join teams through Team PINs.
Group Admins can manage rosters, collect payments, and schedule matches.
If a player drops out, admins can send last-minute player alerts to others at the venue.

5. Payments & Refunds

Payments for match fees are processed through Stripe.
5Aside does not handle or store payment details—this is managed securely by Stripe.
Refunds are at the discretion of team admins. Players must contact the team admin directly regarding any issues.
Platform fees are non-refundable.

6. User-Generated Content & Chat Rules

Be respectful. No hate speech, harassment, or abusive language.
No spamming or sending unsolicited messages to users.
We reserve the right to remove content or ban users violating these rules.

7. Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for injuries, damages, or losses from playing football.
We do not guarantee that you will always find players for your game.
5Aside is provided "as is", without guarantees of uninterrupted service.

8. Privacy & Data Handling

We collect minimal personal data, primarily for account creationpayments.
Data is securely stored and never sold to third parties.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by UK law. Any disputes will be handled in the appropriate UK courts.
